BIO
John Diamantis is a writer, creator, story consultant and storyteller with a passion for developing compelling characters, authentic voices and memorable worlds.
Having spent over 15 years living and working between London and Sydney, John has built a diverse creative career spanning acting, writing, presenting and concept development.
A lifelong lover of music, the arts and popular culture, he is fascinated by the stories that bring people together, make us laugh, challenge our perspectives and leave a lasting impression.
John specialises in character-driven storytelling, with particular interests in contemporary drama, comedy, LGBT+ narratives, youth culture, relationships and identity.
Alongside developing his own original television projects, he works with writers, creatives and production teams to help shape stories, characters and ideas through script feedback, story development and creative consultation.
With a creative background that also includes songwriting and performance, John's work is driven by curiosity, imagination and a genuine love of storytelling.
Whether creating television concepts, developing pitch decks, writing children's adventures or supporting other creatives in bringing their ideas to life, he enjoys finding the emotional truth at the heart of every story.
His children's book series, Misty and the Band, was inspired by a desire to encourage creativity, friendship, self-expression and imagination in young readers, while many of his screen projects explore themes of belonging, ambition, humour, love and the complexities of modern relationships.
John believes great stories have the power to spark imagination, create meaningful connections and help us better understand ourselves and each other. At the heart of everything he creates is a simple goal: to tell stories that entertain, inspire and stay with audiences long after the final page, episode or adventure.

"There is no greater agony
than bearing an untold story inside you."
